Each brush was designed with a specific purpose in mind but they are also so versatile they can be used in many ways! The brushes are meant to be used in order by number, with A501-A505 being for the eyelids and A506 & A507 being used for the face.

A501: An all over lid shader, use this one 1st to lay down the foundation of any eyeshadow look from simple to complex. It can be used to pack color on from the lashes to the eyebrows.

A502: A crease brush, used 2nd to define the crease and start to disguise a sagging hooded lid. It’s compact enough to get into small spaces or “under the hood” yet soft enough that eyeshadow goes on diffused looking.

A503: A blending brush, used 3rd to blend out the crease and throughout eyeshadow application to blend each layer. I rarely dip it into eyeshadow, preferring to keep it clean so colors don’t get muddy while blending. But, it can also be used in a light/medium eyeshadow to define the crease in 1 step for a softer everyday look.

A504: A detailer brush with very compact head, perfect for creating drama in the crease or along the lash line. My favorite way to use it is to create a wedge of dark eyeshadow at the outer corner that doubles as a template for eyeliner!

A505: Perfect for applying shimmery shadow to the lid, but can also double as a lip brush! I use the A505 as the last step in my eyeshadow look to pack a shimmer shadow on the lid and at the inner corner. Fluffy brushes don’t work for shimmer shades so this brush is dense and flat and it works so well!

A506: For applying under-eye concealer, I love this scaled-down version of the BK 101 Contoured Foundation brush so much! I use it in a patting motion to apply under-eye concealer. It blends out smoothly and seamlessly every time! It can also be used to apply concealer by the sides of the nose or to other areas of the face. It’s also great for contouring!

A507: For applying blush. The domed angled shape makes applying blush on mature skin so easy because the brush does the blending for you. It can be used with cream or powder blush for beautiful results.
